These are the probably the high-end clinics in your area, although the
famous doctors treat quite ordinary people. (I'm in Houston and Denton
Cooley -- the first American doctor to do a heart transplant -- is on
my medical plan. Hopefully, I'll never need a transplant!) My
cardiologist isn't quite as famous, but he's written most of a book
about transesophageal echocardiography.... that's what you get when
you call asking for a cardiologist to consult with a troublesome case
of high blood pressure,,, However, he IS quite good at dealing with
the blood pressure problems.
