I break them up into 4 to 6 pieces, to get the equivalent dose that people in other areas of the world get normally in their diet.It has helped enormously with my chronic sinusitis, while the operation and steroid sprays that they gave me did nothing. This won't help you get an operation for sleep apnea from the VA, but that should be dealt with separately based on your medical evaluation.
