Question: I have a date for my disability 4 sleep apnea what are some of the things they will ask me?
Answer: I'm afraid I will have to agree with Dougie. If you are referring to Social Security Disability, you are wasting both your time and theirs claiming a disability solely on having sleep apnea. There are many methods available to treat sleep apnea - everything from equipment to surgery. If you cannot afford treatment, you may qualify for assistance. Many people who really need and qualify for disability have a difficult time convincing the government that they meet the criteria. I am afraid if your only disability is sleep apnea, your result is probably going to be negative. My advice is to get the apnea treated and continue working. Sorry, but there are a lot of folks out there with sleep apnea who go to work every day and function just fine. With proper treatment, you can be one of them.
