Question:
do the following "symptoms" sound like a sleep disorder
affecting my moods or a mood disorder affecting my sleep? Thanks for
any feedback you can provide.
Weight gain, no matter how little or much I eat. Exercise not much
impact on weight either.
No energy. Never feel like doing anything.Feeling like I'd just rather be dead than go on. (Never try to act
upon that other than mention it to a close friend occasionally.)
Great feelings of sadness or "depression" on weekend days especially,
but sometimes on weekday evenings. A typical Saturday for me is to
lay in bed feeling lousy, unrested and on the verge of tears with low
self esteem for doing it.
I'll start crying for almost no reason just out of the blue, any time,
anywhere.
can't sleep - no matter how late I go to bed I wake up early & don't
feel refreshed. Often the later I go to bed the earlier I wake up.
Sleepless cycle like 2-3 days of poor sleep then finally so exhausted
I get one night of 8 hours (never more) then it starts all over again.
I'm told I snore loudly - sometimes I wake myself up from my own
snoring; usually in the first hour or two after falling asleep. (I
have a constant stuffy nose & I think taking antihistamine & nasal
decongestant help reduce snoring. )
can't think clearly:
Answer:
Yeah I think most people are. But doctors are there to help you, and all that,
so I think it's worth it. Especially after reading the rest of your post...if
you go and the doctor can help, it'd be completely worth it.
Well, what I did was divide your "symptoms" into 2 categories...sleep related
and not sleep related. It ended up being like 4 sleep ones and 8 not sleep
ones. IMnot-a-doctorO, maybe it is depression. Even if not, it's something
though, and I think going to a doctor is a good idea.
