Question: I get insomnia really bad how to cure it?I get insomnia really bad all the time. I'm only 14, and since I get so little sleep from my insomnia, I go to bed really early, like at 9 or 9:30. But then I usually won't fall asleep until 12 or 1 in the morning! It's awful, and I'm always tired. I've tried everything though - I don't eat/drink anything with sugar or caffeine before going to bed, I've made sure I've stopped excersising an hour before I go to bed but I excersise a lot during the day, I get off the computer an hour before sleeping. At night I've tried taking deep breaths and streching and relaxing my muscles. Nothing works!!! How can I get to sleep?!?!



Answer: Get some exercise during the day, but don't exercise within an hour before bedtime. Also, eat lightly in the evening, and don't eat right before you go to bed. Avoid alcohol. You can try drinking some sleepy time tea,which is very relaxing, and take a warm soothing aromatherapy bath before going to bed. If you wake up during sleep, try clearing your thoughts and think about soIt's so frustrating when you can't sleep, and I prefer to avoid medicines, so opt for the home remedies.
