Question: Sleep Disorder?I'm curious if any of you might know what could be wrong with me? Have any of you experienced this?I just got married 6 months ago...we didn't live together before, but we spent weekends together. Apparently, since the beginning, I am occassionally abusive to him when I'm asleep... kicking, hitting, shoving, and even went as far as pushing him off the bed the other day (although, I still think the kittens had help with that!). I have no idea what I'm doing because I'm out cold.We have a queen size bed. We know we need/want a king size, but don't have the money right now.Also...he tends to try to cuddle with me a lot...which can be nice, but he tries it all the time...not sure if it's just getting to me on nights when I need my space.Finally...we are both under a TON of stress...Could this be signs of a sleep disorder? How do I get over it? What has worked for you?
Answer: Sometimes we are just active in our sleep or you could be having bad dreams without knowing it. I know that when I am asleep I tend to kick or move around a lot when I am asleep. It went as far as giving my friend a bloody nose once when I was staying over. She had a queen size bed as well. Maybe you need to tell him that you don't want to cuddle as often as you do. You need your space sometimes and there is nothing wrong with that. I honestly don't think it is a sleep disorder just restlessness when you sleep or feeling crowded or trapped while you are asleep. Or you are just a bed hog like I am. I even kick my cat off the bed. Try getting a lot of your energy out before you go to bed.
