Question: Has anybody every used the SUAD - an oral device - to help correct Sleep Apnea?i have mild sleep apnea and i am soon to begin using a SUAD. it is an oral device that keeps the tongue and lower jaw in place to prevent it from blocking the airway. i am searching for any personal feedback.
Answer: I concur with crys. However, it's the only approved device for any of our personnel that serve in the armed forces and have to go overseas. It's a tradeoff. Perhaps your dentist could give you a list of past patients that use the device who would be willing to speak to you with regards to its pros and cons.
