Sleep Apnea Snoring

Question: Snoring/Sleep Apnea?Does anyone know if you lose weight, will it stop snoring from being so awful? My doctor said that if I lost 50-75 pounds it would curb the snoring issue. The problem is that my boyfriend won't sleep in the same room as me, and I have been dieting and have lost 5-10 pounds so far and I am only in week 2. I am not that overweight i am 5'6 and wear about a 14, I am just concerned that If I lose all that weight the snoring won't stop. ANyone know anything about this?

Answer: Losing weight can help a lot. Also, try sleeping in different positions. You may only snore on your back, like me. Other alternatives, if that doesn't work are surgery with pretty solid results or a C-Pap. That is a machine that rushes air into your airways whille you sleep. It looks like a mini-Darth Vade mask and stops sleep apnea. However, try the weight loss and sleeping in a different position method first. It is the easiest.
