Answer: Establish a bedtime routine that will become familiar and give him a safe sense of security. An example: bath/teeth, story/song, tucking in, or even a nice massage with lavender bedtime lotion. Be patient and loving, he may be scared, and unsure that this is his permanent home.Oh, boy have i seen this before. Since he is 2 years old, i would suggest rocking him in your arms and offering sips of warmed, sweetened milk. Sing to him and run your fingers through his hair - touch him as much as you can in a loving, mothering way.At this age and with a Russian adoption, he needs to be cradled to sleep in his mother's arms.
