Question: Does anyone get involuntary 1sec 2secs head shakes? Cause? Cure? Treatment?does anyone get head shakes? (similar to head shakes males some times get after peeing) not the body shaking, just your head shaking/jerking a little. at most 1.5-2 seconds long.i get them some times mostly during the day time when i'm relaxed. so, only when i'm conscious, not when i'm asleep. so it's not a sleeping disorder. but i can get them before falling asleep and maybe conscious enough to wake from a lucid dream, but not during sleep.
Answer: I have the same thing and started to experience this after I came down with and was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and began to take meds. I also have shaky hands that never cease to stop. These shakes, similar to the ones you are talking about started about a couple of months ago. They are involuntary and all of a sudden my hands, neck, or head jerk like you said. (similar to tourettes). I am also a hypochondriac so at one point I thought I had Tourettes and went to a doctor and told me no. I worried so much about them that they kept getting worse and I would feel them coming from deep inside even my torso where it would make my entire body jerk and I would fight it and it became worse!
