Sonata Sleep Aid

Question: Has anyone taken the sleep aid, Sonata? If so can you tell me how it worked and what side effects it had?

Answer: Of all the sleep aids I've tried, I like Sonata the best. I use it once or twice a month with no adverse side-effects. It puts me to sleep quickly, keeps me asleep for several hours, and allows me to wake up quickly the next morning. I don't have the "hazy" feeling that I get from using nighttime cold remedies that contain an antihistamine. Antihistamines make me very sleepy, but I hate the next-day after-effects.However, you should be aware that I normally take Sonata when I wake up at 2 or 3 AM and cannot get back to sleep. I've noticed that if I take it much earlier than that, it doesn't necessarily keep me asleep until morning. To summarize, I would say that it's great for /putting/ me to sleep, with no next-day after-effects, but does not necessarily keep me asleep for the entire night.
