Answer: Good herbals:Passiflora tablets or lemon balm capsules (as directed on the label)Camomile tea or rooibush tea after your main meal and about an hour before sleeping.A calcium/magnesium supplement (500mg ca/250mg magnesium) about 2 hours before bedtime. Calcium is a sleep aid and so is magnesium. Magnesium is known as the anti-stress mineral so will certainly help with any anxiety that you have about not sleeping. You could also take a B complex vitamin once a day if stress is a problem for you as the B complex vitamins are known as the antistress vitamins.Avoid doing anything that stimulates the brain at least an hour before going to bed. Try reading a chill-out book and/or listening to some relaxing music instead.If there is anything worrying you that is affecting your sleep then share this with someone you feel comfortable sharing this with.Make sure you are warm enough in bed.
